The dA
On the 30th of January I had the opportunity to visit several galleries at Pomona's Art Walk. I was surprised with the amounts of people walking in and out of galleries discussing what they thought was interesting. I would have to say that the "hot" gallery was the dA. There were so many people it was difficult to walk through the entrance. People were not only enjoying the music and wine;; they were taking the times to see each and every piece of art. The current theme was "New Traditionalist" which was very refreshing. I was expecting to see traditional oil and watercolor paintings.
When I walked into the dA I immediately fell in love with the painting "Chutes and Ladders" by Athena Hahn because it reminded me that art is can be appreciated by all ages.

Bunny Gunner Art Gallery
Exhibition Muse Cruise
Drawing by Brent Harada & Rusty Jordan

Like most of the work in the Bunny Gunner Art Gallery this untitled piece was done by ink. This type of exhibition was new to me and I could see that not too many people were going into the gallery, maybe because from the outside it looked like boring black and white drawings. I tried to concentrate on one drawing and take a look at each design with in the drawing and was entertained for quite a while.
Pomona Frame House
In my opinion this piece was the best. It was done with layers upon layers of what looked like watercolors. It is very colorful and has a glowing touch; I could see it on a stained glass window of a church I don't know the name for this technique but I could see why everyone in the Pomona Frame House would observe it more than any other work.
